Danger Ahead -Theme 56-I stepped lightly on the gas, just trying to get the car to move a few inches, very slowly. Unfortunately, I didn’t step lightly enough, and the whole car sprang forward, jolting me against my seatbelt. I slammed on the brake as hard as I could, swearing under my breath. If I had been going any faster, it probably would’ve caused whiplash. But my neck was fine in this particular incident, and I was ready to start again. I adjusted my seatbelt nervously and pressed the gas again, this time prepared for the jolt. I turned the wheel, too hard, but got the car on course. My breath came faster than normal, but I was okay. I steered my waDanger Ahead -Theme 56-

Tower -Theme 54-The hotel was 21 floors, plus a penthouse. Erin sat on the balcony of their 20th floor room and gazed down on the people roaming Myrtle Beach. Salted waves rolled in on the shell coated shore in the post sunset dusk. She sighed, and gazed down at her mangled arm. The scar hadn’t formed yet, so she was still streaked with blood. A fisherman’s large hook had caught her earlier, and he had reeled in hard, digging into her skin and ripping a gash. They hadn’t been able to pull the hook out, so they’d had to cut it out. The salty ocean water would burn at the mess, and sand wound infect the wound. She had practically banished hTower -Theme 54-

Keeping a Secret -Theme 53-I see you, and it’s all I can do to keep the words inside instead of letting them bubble over like a waterfall. So many times I’m tempted to tell you, but I have to keep reminding myself it’s unwise. I can’t, however, keep my arms from reaching out to you. You wrap me up into a hug so warm that I begin to wonder if it’s really only platonic to you. Neither of us are letting go, and I’m certainly not going to be the one to break the embrace. I lay my head on you shoulder, and you stroke my hair once, tenderly, and then release me. I wish you hadn’t let me go, but we can’t be connected forever. I wish. YoKeeping a Secret -Theme 53-

Deep In Thought -Theme 52-Chemicals surrounded the lab table as the researchers worked. “Meg, you leaving? We’re done for today. Why don’t you take a break?” The biochemist shook her head. Her eyes never strayed from the experiment in front of her. “Okay…. Well, don’t hurt yourself. Get some sleep.” Meg ignored the group and continued recording results. She had been there for hours, and she would be there for hours more until she had reached the answer. Her lab group had nearly given up on finding the answer, and the initiative had continually dropped lower and lower in the disappointed group.Deep In Thought -Theme 52-

What is there to say? Hobbies tend to include stalking people on dA, hunting down cool smilies  and finding the most awesome 70's attire at the thrift store.More NORMAL (normal. Bah.) hobbies include dedicating my life to writing, singing loudly and off-key, playing my trumpet like a good band dork, and despising the maths HW forced upon me. In my spare time, I daydream of being a foreign exchange student, making my math teacher look like a normal human, not talking to my family, and hiding my poems/songs that sound depressive from my overly-anxious mother/friends *coughcough karena* i tend to be insomniatic, dream a lot while awake, and pretend to be things i'm not. which means acting is very fun for me. im many people in alternate realities, and the people i love tend to have some strange philosophical musings. on the flip side, i love to be loved. (awww. another affectionate human being) so i love being with the people i choose to be with. (this more often than not means i choose NOT to be with my family. that is not a choice. that is a biological obligation.) What else is there to say? |
